Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a professional to perform daily operations in the Electrophysiology Laboratory, providing technical support during electrophysiology and pacemaker procedures and ensuring patient care during procedures. Work involves maintaining equipment, assisting physicians, and participating in quality programs.

The role requires ARRT certification, PALS within 6 months of hire, and ongoing departmental education.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in healthcare-related field accepted in lieu of specialty training, with at least two years of healthcare experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field accepted in lieu of specialty training degree; healthcare experience preferred but not required with bachelor’s.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily procedures in the electrophysiology laboratory.
• Maintains and troubleshoots EP lab equipment for safety and operability.
• Provides life support during cardiac events and assists during procedures.
• Assists with training, orientation, and clinical research trials in the department.
