Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking an Ep Lab Tech for a full-time day shift. The position features a 6:30am–5:00pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with no on-call requirements.

You will provide technical support for electrophysiology procedures, including supply management, equipment operation, monitoring and imaging, while maintaining sterile fields. In this role you will scrub, assist with catheter and device handling, document procedures, and help coordinate schedules.

Qualifications

• Certification as RCIS/RCES/ARRT or 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience.
• CVT Tech background.
• Allied Health Degree.
• Current BLS by AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire date or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for diagnostic and interventional EP procedures including supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging and device use.
• Perform hemodynamic and ECG monitoring and interpret data.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures; prep supplies, maintain sterile field, handle catheters, guide-wires and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications from sterile field as directed by physician.
• Document procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Assist to coordinate procedure schedule and inventory control as directed by supervisor/manager.

Education

RCIS/RCES/ARRT certification or 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience
