Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the EP Lab at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time position features a 6:30am–5:00pm schedule with on-call duties.

You will perform patient assessments, coordinate plans of care, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement efforts while maintaining up-to-date nursing practice. Must have IL RN license; EP Lab experience and CPR/ACLS certifications are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of EP Lab experience preferred.
• IL RN license required.
• CPR and ACLS certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and health care team in person, by phone and in writing.
• Teaches patients and families based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintains current knowledge of nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
