Qualifications

• Graduate of BSN program.
• NYS Nursing License required.
• Electrophysiology experience at least preferred.
• 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab including EP studies, ablations, pacemaker implants, and non-invasive testing.
• Cross-train to admit and recover pre- and post-procedure patients, monitor hemodynamics, and perform hemostasis.
• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients with accountability for overall care.
• Supervise and direct activities of Patient Care Associates and Techs; weekends and on-call required.
