Job summary

American Nursing Care Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will support EP procedures, including ablations and device implants, on a four 10-hour shift schedule.

This role offers a hospital-based EP Lab environment with travel stipends and a stable schedule for qualified travelers seeking consistent work in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license eligible to practice in Ohio.
• Experience in Electrophysiology Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, CVICU or critical care preferred.
• Strong cardiac assessment and telemetry skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after EP procedures.
• Assess and monitor patients during EP procedures.
• Assist physicians with cardiac ablations, device procedures, cardioversions and other invasive cardiac procedures.
• Administer medications, sedation per orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor rhythms, vital signs, and patient response to procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in condition.
• Assist with patient preparation, recovery, and discharge.
• Maintain sterile environment and infection-control standards.
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists, anesthesia, radiology staff.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
