Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Electrophysiology Laboratory seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to blend procedural/OR nursing with floor care in a fast-paced, tech-driven setting. You will support pacemaker/ICD procedures, telemetry, and patient education while collaborating with EP physicians and anesthesia.

New hires undergo a 12-week orientation with hands-on procedural experience and strong clinical foundations. Schedule: days, 6:45am–8:15pm, with no weekends, on-call, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS certification through AHA or Red Cross (willing to obtain within 6 months)
• One year of recent RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients and document findings in records; notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer treatments and medications; perform nursing procedures.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients and health care team.
• Coordinate ongoing care and discharge planning.
• Evaluate and maintain standards of care.
• Educate patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.
