Job summary

Modine is seeking an End-of-Line Airedale Chiller Test Technician to verify the quality, functionality, and performance of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers before they leave the production line. You will conduct final system tests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with standards.

Shift: Mon-Thur 3:00PM - 1:30AM, mandatory overtime on Friday and Saturday. Pay range: $27.13-$31.90 with a $0.36 differential after 3:00PM.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or relevant experience).
• Previous experience in chiller testing, HVAC systems, or refrigeration preferred.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical ability to lift moderate weights and work in a manufacturing environment.
• EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification or Electrical Safety Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform final system tests on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers before shipment.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test results and test procedures.
• Work with engineering and production to resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Adhere to safety and quality protocols during testing and packaging.
• Support overtime as required, including Friday and Saturday shifts.

Position Description

We areseekinga skilled and detail-oriented End-of-Line Airedale Chiller Test Technician to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers before they leave the production line.
