Job summary

TechINT Solutions Group is seeking an Electronics Exploitation Deployer to join its Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD team. The role involves hands-on forensics and electronic exploitation, with six-month OCONUS rotations and up to a year stateside at APG.

Responsibilities include generating reports, deploying, upgrading equipment, and training teams on exploitation capabilities across RF and electronics domains. A TS clearance and lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI.
• Strong understanding of electronics components and full characterization of electronic circuits.
• Experience in IED electronics.
• Familiarity with benchtop RF equipment: Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes.

TechINT is currently seeking an Electronics Exploitation Deployer to join our Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD team. This position also has OCONUS deployments of 6 months and up-to a year (salary increases exponentially when deployed) and approximately 12 months stateside at APG MD. Job# TI1597

Job Description

Provide forensics and exploitation support, be available and willing to deploy to OCONUS Level 2 exploitation Labs (EXU/ FXL-C labs (formerly known as CEXC/TEX/ACME) locations to include the CENTCOM and AFRICOM AORs for up to 6 months rotations. The Technician will be expected to generate forensics reporting from Technical Exploitation products and will respond to any associated analytical requirements. While deployed, responsibilities include installing, debugging, maintaining, and upgrading all assigned equipment and providing broad mission support, training, briefings, employing, and fielding of the Technical Exploitation capability to include; electrical forensics applications, tools, and systems.

• Provide hands-on technical forensic exploitation support for technical intelligence (TECHINT), media exploitation (MEDEX), cell phone exploitation (CELLEX), electronic exploitation, and other unique exploitation missions.
• Conduct electronic analyses of target devices, including functional analyses of the target devices, understand and describe how the target functions from an electronic perspective – basic signaling characteristics; voltage levels; electrical connections; electrical modifications to commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware; logic states; operating frequencies; component configuration identification; operating profiles/modes; operation in noisy electromagnetic environments; and susceptibility.
• Serve as subject matter expert in RF characterization.
• Publish reports and briefings in order to present characterization information, electronics vulnerabilities, and exploitation recommendations.
• Work with a team to respond to RFI’s and determine best-consolidated solutions to problems.
• Design and implement characterization standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implement SOPs in daily functions.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain a SCI.
• An understanding of electronics components, particularly emphasizing the complete characterization of electronic circuits.
• Experience in IED electronics.
• Familiarity with using benchtop RF equipment including Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and other equipment.
