The State University of New York, Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center (BEOC), located in downtown Brooklyn as part of CUNY-New York City College of Technology, provides tuition free academic and workforce development training to eligible New York State residents, providing a pathway to lifelong learning, college access and economic self-sufficiency. The BEOC welcomes applications for a full-time position as EOC Custodial Assistant.
The EOC Custodial Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe learning environment at BEOC. This position focuses on general cleaning and light labor tasks in classrooms, offices, common areas, and surrounding grounds, in accordance with union guidelines.
Reporting to the Custodial Supervisor, the Custodial Assistant will:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
There are no formal education or experience requirements.
There are certain medical and physical requirements as established by University management.
COMPENSATION
New Hire: $38,712*
Incumbent: $39,548
*This amount reflects a 13% salary suppression in effect for the first 24 months of employment only.
