Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of rating procedures.
• Basic understanding of insurance products.
• Experience in the administrative process for quoting/binding accounts.
• Experience in the issuance of insurance policies.
• Ability to work with underwriting staff on management reports.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain underwriting account clearance system.
• Perform ratings.
• Issue binders/policies/endorsements for Environmental underwriting staff.
• Create and maintain underwriting files.
• Collect renewal information and prepare renewal submissions for underwriters.
• Maintain business logs (renewal lists, NB lists, etc.).
