Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and active license to practice law.
• 3–5 years relevant experience in insurance law.
• Environmental law or environmental insurance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of underwriting concepts and claims procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance to underwriters on insurance coverage and contracts.
• Review contracts and policy language to assess impact.
• Draft and revise policy language and endorsements.
• Advise management on liability and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to integrate legal perspective.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate impacts.
• Support internal reporting and documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry developments.
