About the Role:
As an Environmental Underwriter (Site Pollution/EIL), you’ll manage the profitability, growth, and retention of your assigned book of business while ensuring alignment with company objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Review applications and financials to assess risk acceptability.
  • Apply technical underwriting expertise with thorough documentation.
  • Price risks using financial and competitive analysis.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Utilize underwriting tools for accurate classifications, rates, and premiums.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 3-10 years of commercial underwriting experience (EIL/Site Pollution liability required). Will consider candidates with 2+ years of experience and an environmental sciences background
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Professional designations (AU, ARM, CPCU) preferred or in progress.
  • Strong relationship management and client service skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
