Job summary

STX Group in New York is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Operations Specialist – Contracts & Settlement to join our U.S. Operations team.

You will own the end-to-end contract lifecycle for environmental certificate trades and ensure accurate documentation, invoicing, and settlement. Collaborate with traders, Finance, and external counterparties to align trades, contracts, and invoices, drive process improvements, and support automation initiatives for scalable, compliant operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
1+ years in trade operations, contracts, settlements, or similar in commodities, energy, or financial markets.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across international teams.
Based in the New York metropolitan area and able to be in office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end contract lifecycle for environmental certificate trades.
Coordinate settlements including invoicing, receivables, and cash flow.
Collaborate with Front Office, Finance, and counterparties to align trades, contracts, and invoices.
Identify and resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements.
Develop expertise across trade lifecycle from capture to settlement.
