Job summary

EnduroSat is seeking a Manager of Environmental Testing to lead the team responsible for qualifying flight hardware against launch stresses and space environment. The role is full-time, exempt, on-site at Gardena, CA, reporting to the VP of Manufacturing and Test.

You will oversee TVAC, vibration, shock, acoustic, and humidity testing, manage campaigns, and drive improvements in data quality and throughput while ensuring compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 and program requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in environmental testing (TVAC, vibration, shock) with leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO9001 quality systems.
• 3+ years mentoring and developing a team.
• Hands-on with test equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental Testing team across TVAC, vibration, shock, acoustic, and humidity tests
• Own test campaign schedule across programs
• Develop and maintain test procedures, plans, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with design and systems engineering on requirements
• Support failure analysis and root cause investigations
• Oversee calibration, maintenance, and qualification of test equipment
• Ensure traceability and compliance with program/regulatory requirements
• Partner with suppliers and external test facilities
• Drive continuous improvement in throughput, utilization, data quality
• Meet production and qualification schedules with shifting priorities
