Job summary

Jobot, an aerospace hardware company with offices nationwide, seeks a teammate to perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures including static load, thermal vacuum, and vibration.

You will inspect components after tests, assist with non-conformance investigations, and help write technical work instructions while following safety regulations and quality standards across projects.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a similar aerospace or engineering role.
  • Familiar with aerospace tools such as torque wrenches and multimeters.
  • Experience writing technical work instructions (preferred).
  • Experience in Aerospace cleanroom is preferred.
  • Knowledge of advanced electronic circuitry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration
  • Inspecting mechanical and electrical components after test completion to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
  • Assisting with non-conformance investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Utilizing common aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
  • Assisting in writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility for all team members.
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace or engineering industry.
  2. Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools, including but not limited to torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
  3. Proven experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing (preferred).
  4. Experience working in an Aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.
  5. Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.
  6. Experience using electronics equipment (e.g. DMMs, power supplies, DAQs, etc.).
