L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Clifton, New Jersey is seeking a first shift Environmental Test Engineer to support the Clifton Environmental Test facility.

The role focuses on Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) for electronic warfare products, including temperature, vibration, thermal shock, and thermal cycling. This position requires hands-on testing, instrumentation knowledge, and the ability to work with limited supervision after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 2+ years of related experience; graduate degree or equivalent acceptable with 0–2 years (or 6+ years if no degree).
• Hands-on testing experience with ESS and environmental testing.
• Knowledge of temperature, vibration, thermal shock and thermal cycling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Environmental Testing—Temperature, Vibration, Thermal Shock, Thermal Cycle—on all products.
• Set up equipment, run, and monitor environmental tests.
• Report and communicate test results and issues.
• Participate in department activities and track issue resolution.
• Communicate with team members regarding status and next actions.
