Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks an Environmental Test Engineer T3 in Woodland Hills, CA, to support environmental test and qualification activities for complex hardware in a safety‑focused lab. You will contribute to MBSE, DevSecOps, and Agile practices while ensuring rigorous test execution and documentation.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years (or 3+ with a Master’s), experience in vibration/thermal/shock testing, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience with environmental test and qualification (vibration, thermal, shock, humidity).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Onsite work in Woodland Hills, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Environmental Test Plans and Procedures for dynamic and climatic tests.
• Perform environmental qualification and verification testing at unit and subsystem levels.
• Define and support fixtures, harnesses, and ancillary equipment for testing.
• Set up environmental test equipment and ensure procedures and safety compliance.
