Willis Knighton Health in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Services - Housekeeping team member for day shift (06:00–14:30).

You will perform daily cleaning and stocking of patient rooms, wards, nursing stations, lounges, laboratories, bathrooms, offices and other areas per department procedures. You will use cleaning devices such as wet mops, wringers, dusters and household vacuums, following safety guidelines and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Daily cleaning and stocking of patient rooms, wards, nursing stations, lounges, laboratories, bathrooms and offices per department procedures.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual physical examination.
• Must demonstrate safe use of chemicals, supplies and tools after brief training.
• Previous environmental experience preferred.

Daily cleaning and supplying patient rooms, wards, nursing stations, lounges, laboratories, bathrooms, offices, and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Housekeeping Department and in accordance with the facility's objectives. Will use cleaning devices including 16 oz. wet mops, small wringers, dusters, household type vacuum cleaners, and other necessary tools, products, and supplies.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment and annual physical examination.
• Must, after brief training, be able to demonstrate the correct use of chemicals, supplies, and tools assigned.
• Previous environmental experience preferred.
• Must understand the potential hazards presented by the use of chemicals to self and to others as is outlined in the Department's Written hazard Communication Program.
