Veolia is seeking an Environmental Technician II in Jacksonville, FL to manage inbound waste streams and operate on-site treatment equipment. You will perform pit mixing, drum pumping/dumping, and support with hi-lo and wheel loader operations while maintaining accurate paperwork.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hazardous materials experience, a HS GED, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. PPE will be provided and required; occasional night/weekend shifts may occur.
Job Description
Environmental Technician II will be responsible for knowing the location and treatment for inbound waste streams. Environmental Technician II will be able to treat and process waste with onsite equipment. This includes pit mixing, drum pumping, drum dumping, and basic hi-lo and wheel loader skills. Technician must be able to complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures.
Starting rate of pay $26.00
Qualifications
