The Quapaw Nation Environmental Department is seeking an Environmental Technician to support daily operations at the Quapaw Nation Environmental Office. This on-site role focuses on managing the recycling program, field sampling for water, soil, and air, and assisting with cleanup of illegal dump sites and composting operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 40 hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly water, soil, and air sampling.Collect and transport recyclable materials using truck and trailer.
• Maintain recycling trailers and equipment; assist with composting site.
