Job summary
EnviroMax in the Greater Carnegie, PA area is seeking an Environmental Technician to perform industrial environmental services, emergency response, and remediation projects across Western Pennsylvania with an experienced team.
This hands-on role involves spill response, tank cleaning, waste handling, equipment operation, and a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule. Competitive pay, health benefits, 401(k), life insurance, and growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in environmental, industrial, construction, or related field.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency spill response and environmental incidents.
- Perform site remediation, industrial cleaning, and tank cleaning.
- Operate pressure washers, pumps, generators, and vacuum systems.
- Collect environmental samples and assist with waste characterization.
- Package and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Maintain field documentation and follow safety policies.
- Participate in rotating 24/7 emergency on-call schedule.
