Tetra Tech in Denver, CO is seeking a part-time, on-call Environmental Technician to support air sampling and field collection across the Denver area. The role includes early morning shifts 4:30am–8:30am, on-call daily 365 days/year, with compensation for on-call time and for hours worked in the field.

Tetra Tech is looking for a part-time, on-call Environmental Technician in the Denver, CO area.
Provide environmental air sampling support in the Denver, CO area and the collection of particulate samples from sites located around the city. The daily routine will involve sample collection, sample documentation, and transportation to a designated laboratory. The candidate will be trained in standard operating procedures and air sample equipment mechanical maintenance. Sample collection is completed daily, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays. The collection of samples occurs during an early morning 4-hour shift from 4:30am - 8:30am, during which the candidate will be on-call 365 days/year except when your requested days off are approved. While on-call, the candidate will be compensated for 2 hours or when called into the field the candidate will be compensated for the number of hours worked. Additional monthly group meetings and trainings are scheduled with advanced notice (may take place remotely or in person) during normal business hours. This position allows the potential to support other projects and/or tasks that may arise in relation to other contracts outside of the listed above work.

The salary for this position is $28.00 per hour, depending on education, experience, skills, and location.
