Triumvirate Environmental in Clayton, NC is seeking an Environmental Technician to support on-site hazardous waste programs. This role requires hands-on safety, attention to detail, and strong customer service to help clients meet regulatory requirements.

The job features a rotating two-week schedule with 12-hour shifts, demanding physical stamina and reliability. On-site responsibilities include waste handling, forklift operations, inspections, and coordinating with drivers and subcontractors

Environmental Technician

This is a 12-hour shift 7am-7pm, on a 2-week rotating schedule. One week will be Saturday-Monday and Thursday-Friday, and the next week will be Tuesday-Wednesday

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking an Environmental Technician for our Clayton, NC team.

This highly motivated, detail-oriented, customer service-focused individual will be responsible for working on site for the client by helping them manage their hazardous waste programs.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift to move supplies as necessary
• Load and organize recyclable material onto trailers
• Communicate and schedule non-hazardous waste pick-ups

• Positive attitude and good communication skills

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work flexible shift hours; typically, 7am to 4pm or 10am to 7pm Saturday through Wednesday.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of, or interest in, the hazardous waste field.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Self-motivated person with the desire to learn.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime on when needed

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior relevant industry experience
• Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
• Forklift Experience
