Job Overview

The incumbent executes work orders daily per contract requirements.

This position is for the 6:00 am shift.

Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

• Report to work on time daily.
• Carry out work orders as per contract daily.
• Report problems and accidents immediately to the supervisor, comply with all rules and regulations on Stennis Space Center property.
• Perform cleaning duties including but not limited to: cleaning floors, carpets, emptying trash, cleaning stairwells, elevators, entranceways, dusting, polishing, cleaning drinking fountains, glass, and restrooms.
• Secure vehicles and equipment at shift end.
• Perform all tasks according to schedule and contract.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in janitorial services.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in janitorial work.
• U.S. citizenship required for NASA badge access.
• Ability to provide valid citizenship documentation (Birth Certificate with state seal, Passport, or INS documentation).
• Legal right to work in the U.S. (must present documents on hire; failure to do so may result in being sent home).
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Valid Real ID driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
