Triumvirate Environmental, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Technician to join our Lab & Onsite Support Services team at a client site in Germantown, WI. You will help manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and support on-site operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to lift 60 pounds. Training and safety programs provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years experience or relevant military experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities for client interactions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours; safety-sensitive role.
• Must have valid US driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform hazardous and non-hazardous containerized waste pick-ups and material movement on site.
• Assist Program Manager with segregation and lab pack projects by hazard class.
• Conduct routine inventories of site waste accumulation areas.
• Bulk Tanker loading from Hazardous Waste tanks in tank farm.
• Prepare chemical/biological waste for shipment; manage paperwork and regulatory documents.
• Safe handling of hazardous waste containers; load/unload waste from vehicles.
• Label containers per regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service and regulatory compliance support.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and agencies on waste management processes.

As an Environmental Technician, you will support our clients on-site by assisting in managing their hazardous waste programs & projects, utilizing state & federal regulations.

This position reports to the onsite Program Manager. This role is based onsite ata client location inGermantown, WI.

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical hazardous and non-hazardous containerized waste pick-ups and material movement from production areas and laboratories as well as assist the Program Manager with the segregation and packing of chemicals by hazard class during lab pack projects
• Conduct routine inventories of site waste accumulation areas
• Become proficient in bulk Tanker loading from Hazardous Waste tanks in tank farm
• Preparation of chemical and biological waste for shipment and disposal, including assisting the Program Manager with creation of all federal/state waste documents and managing the paperwork for the material
• Safe handling of hazardous waste containers on client sites, as well as loading/unloading of waste from vehicles
• Conduct chemical consolidations in central accumulation areas and production areas in required levels of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Properly maintain and don the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required by each unique work environment encountered
• Prepare and label containers according to regulatory requirements and company policies
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Champion our commitment to the WOW! by providing outstanding support and innovative solutions to our clients
• Develop strong working knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements ensuring our client’s compliance needs are met (e.g RCRA, DOT, and OSHA)
• Coordinate and communicate effectively and professionally with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies regarding waste management processes
• Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations as well as Triumvirate’s Health and Safety practices
• Support onsite Program Manager with various other tasks as needed to ensure a safe and compliant operating program

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience or relevant military experience
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as individually
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional exchanges of information
• Must be able to maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies to achieve positive outcomes
• Skilled in building strong, positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
• The Environmental Technician frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive
• Valid US driver’s license
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior successful experience in a customer service role
• Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
• Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Ability to work non-routine shifts (Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat)
