Our client is looking for a Warehouse Technician in San Jose, CA

- Job Type: 6-month contract to hire

- Pay: $22/hr

You’ll be joining a team of dedicated professionals with the opportunity to learn environmental regulations and how we remove hazardous materials from the waste stream.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consolidate, treat, store, transport, and/or dispose of hazardous waste following established environmental regulations and best practices.
• Operate within all compliance requirements, including OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and customer-specific policies.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Accurately complete all required paperwork, labels, and logs in a timely and legible manner.
• Maintain records in accordance with applicable environmental regulations and company protocols.
• Safely lift and carry containers weighing up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mobile equipment to move waste containers to and from storage, treatment areas, and trailers.
• Load and unload trailers in compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Required:
• Completion of 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training (or willingness to obtain).
• Preferred:
• Forklift certification (will provide training if not currently certified).
