Salary Range: $22.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Weston & Sampson Services is looking for an Environmental Technician. This position will be located in and around the North Shore of Massachusetts.

What you’ll do:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of treatment plants and associated pump stations within the service area.
  • Perform daily inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment at wastewater and water treatment plants and pump stations, as assigned.
What you will bring:
  • Must be able to climb ladders and lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Will be required to respond to emergencies, work shift, on-call, weekends, and holidays, as assigned
  • A high school diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of mechanical experience are required
  • Must have good written and verbal communication , customer service, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain a wastewater treatment and/or water treatment operator’s license within 1 year of employment is preferred
