Job summary

Redline Automotive Merchandising is seeking an Environmental Plant Worker in Pasadena, Texas. In this role, you will learn the safe packaging and shipping of hazardous waste while ensuring compliance with safety practices. Part of your training will involve separating and packing hazardous materials, along with filling out necessary documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, and be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment. Experience in a warehouse is a plus.

Qualifications

• By law, must be 18 years of age.
• Must be willing to wear company-provided personal protection (PPE).
• Must be able to pass background check within 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Learn safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste.
• Separate and pack hazardous material for transport.
• Complete required documentation in accordance with practices.

Job Description

You'll learn how it is handled safely, where it goes, and how we help keep these materials out of landfills and water supplies. In this role, you will separate and pack hazardous material for transport and you'll be trained to complete the required documentation in accordance with our practices and procedures.

• You must be willing and able to wear company-provided personal protection (PPE) including eye protection, face shield, Tyvek coveralls and respirator
• Must be able to pass background within 7 years

Preferred

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to follow procedures and pay attention to details
• Posses a basic knowledge of Windows-based software
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
• Warehouse experience is a plus
