Job summary

Predian is looking for an Environmental Plant Worker in Pasadena, Texas. In this role, you will learn how to safely package and ship hazardous waste, while also understanding the environmental impact. Responsibilities include packing hazardous materials and completing necessary documentation. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to follow procedures, and must be at least 18 years old. Warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Willingness to wear personal protection equipment (PPE) including eye protection, face shield, Tyvek coveralls and respirator.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste.
• Separate and pack hazardous material for transport.
• Complete required documentation in accordance with practices and procedures.

Job Description

As an Environmental Plant Worker, you will learn the safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste. You\'ll learn how it\'s handled safely, where it goes, and how we help keep these materials out of landfills and water supplies. In this role, you will separate and pack hazardous material for transport and you\'ll be trained to complete the required documentation in accordance with our practices and procedures.

Qualifications

Our qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or GED.

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to follow procedures and pay attention to details
• Possess a basic knowledge of Windows-based software
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• By law, you must be 18 years of age.
• You must be willing and able to wear company-provided personal protection (PPE) including eye protection, face shield, Tyvek coveralls and respirator.
• Must be able to pass background within 7 years.
