Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group in Dublin, Ohio is seeking an entry- to intermediate-level Environmental Technician to support field work and report preparation. You will perform soil, groundwater, indoor air, and soil-gas sampling, operate field monitoring equipment, and assist with data entry and documentation under supervision.

This role requires travel, outdoor work in varying conditions, and a commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HAZWOPR certification a plus (not mandatory).
• Ability to travel for extended periods, sometimes on short notice.
• Valid Driver’s License and solid communication skills.
• Health and safety protocol knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soil, groundwater, indoor air and soil-gas sampling.
• Develop, survey and sample monitoring wells.
• Report writing support including lab data entry.
• Remediation oversight and confirmation sampling.

Environmental TechnicianWe are seeking an entry/intermediate-level Environmental Technician in our Dublin, Ohio office with experience in environmental field work and supporting report preparation. The qualified candidates must have professional experience with the following environmental activities:Conducting soil, groundwater, indoor air and soil-gas samplingDevelop, survey and sample monitoring wellsWork with field monitoring equipment including, but not limited to, PID, interface probe, survey equipment, multi parameter water quality meterKnowledge of GIS equipment and software a plusReport writing support including laboratory data entryRemediation oversight and confirmation samplingQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to travel for extended periods, occasionally on short noticeMicrosoft Office Word and Excel skills a plusValid Driver’s LicenseMust communicate effectively with team members, managers, subcontractors, and on-site personnelAble to work independently with limited guidance and detail-orientedStrong understanding of and commitment to health and safety protocolsWilling to work outside, in a variety of climates, and be able to traverse tough terrain at timesWilling to work over and/or outside of regular business hours, as needed40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification a plusThe qualified person would prepare the supporting documents associated with the above-listed activities in accordance with the applicable standards and agency regulations.
