Job Overview

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week on the 3rd shift. In accordance with established policies and procedures, directs and coordinates activities and assignments of Environmental Services aides and/or project aides on assigned shift, maintaining documentation as appropriate.

Required Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping/environmental services experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve as needed while maintaining workflow and daily activity.
• Ability to think critically in making decisions and problem solving to ensure urgent or emergent situations are handled correctly within hospital policies and procedures.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills in working with stakeholders across the care continuum, including patients, families, physicians and colleagues.
• Ability and flexibility to handle interruptions while maintaining momentum in meeting hospital-wide environmental needs.
• Ability to work independently exercising good judgment in addressing all tasks and staff related activities and challenges.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience

• Experience in a supervisory or lead role in an acute care setting.
• Strong computer knowledge a plus.

Educational Requirements

High school diploma. Some college preferred.

Salary Range

$16.63 - $24.99 per hour (range for full-time employment). The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
