Job description

Job Title: Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeping) at UPMC

Join UPMC, an ANCC Magnet designated hospital, as a Full-Time Environmental Services Associate at the Cranberry location. The role requires working every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities:
  1. Make beds and follow established cleaning procedures in patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms.
  2. Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and report issues.
  3. Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
  4. Clean patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices, and equipment following procedures.
  5. Maintain and report on equipment condition.
  6. Remove trash from assigned areas.
  7. Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
  8. Move and clean equipment, furniture, and walls as needed.
  9. Follow written and verbal instructions for housekeeping duties.
  10. Use housekeeping equipment properly.
  11. Be aware of medication storage areas; no contact with medications is allowed.
