Aramark seeks an Environmental Services (EVS) Manager Sr. to lead health and safety compliant facility operations inside Big Bend National Park.

You will oversee cleaning, sanitizing, waste removal, budgeting and performance metrics while maintaining strong client rapport and service excellence. The role emphasizes leadership, team development and adherence to Aramark standards to deliver reliable, high-quality EVS services at multiple park locations.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental services.
• Preference for 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Model leadership behaviours to ensure safety, quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs.
• Overall ownership of operational management and financial performance of the unit.
• Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport for a mutually beneficial relationship.
• Build revenue and manage budget including labor, supply and inventory controls.

Chisos Mountains Lodge is in the Chisos Basin at 5,400 feet elevation, inside Big Bend National Park. The lodge offers a variety of rooms and cottages, plus a gift shop and dining room. Several stores are also located throughout the park at Rio Grande Village, Castolon, and the Service Station at Panther Junction. Big Bend National Park encompasses over 800,000 acres and contains three natural divisions: the Rio Grande with its meandering 118 miles of lush, green floodplain, the sprawling Chihuahuan Desert, and the majestic Chisos Mountain Range.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager Sr. is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all facility solutions to ensure all health and safety standards are met. Leads the operations of facility accounts by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations. Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs

Leadership

• Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit
• Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers
• Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved
• Reward and recognize employees
• Identify and engage top talent and develop team members to their fullest potential within the organization
• Plan and lead team management meetings
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations

Client Relationship

• Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport for a mutually beneficial business relationship
• Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
• Deliver and model WEST as the foundation for delivering excellent customer service
• Facilitate and support new business and retention activities
• Develop programs (facilities, custodial, energy, grounds or maintenance) to meet client and customer demands and specifications

Financial Performance

• Build revenue and manage budget which includes cost controls with regard to labor, supply, and inventory
• Ensure the completion and maintenance of financial statements relative to the department
• Oversight and responsibility to deliver client and company financial targets
• Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, eliminate custom/manual reports
• Understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins

Productivity

• Implement and maintain GM agenda for both labor and total quality management requirements
• Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
• Ensure consistent application of Aramark's operating standards and processes (Operational Excellence) with particular focus on efficiencies in sustainability efforts to reduce energy consumption and labor productivity standards
