Job summary

JSW USA is seeking a seasoned HSE and environmental compliance leader to oversee regulatory programs, ensure ISO 14001/45001 alignment, and manage sustainability reporting. • Lead environmental regulatory compliance programs and ISO 14001/45001 alignment.
• Support sustainability reporting (BRSR/SEED), product stewardship, EPDs, and GreenEdge offerings.
• Drive energy and industrial gas monitoring and efficiency improvements under partnerships.
• Oversee staff for water treatment, utilities, environmental control facilities, resource recovery & recycling.
• Lead technical evaluations to optimize processes and reliability; monitor trends and issues.
• Direct plant emergency responses for HSE incidents and contingency plans.
• Participate in project teams for expansion/upgrades of environmental and utilities operations.
• Coordinate and manage contractors as required.

Job description

• Manage environmental regulatory compliance, ISO 14001/45001 and sustainability monitoring and reporting programs and systems, including accurate and timely permit applications, regulatory reports, responses to agency information requests, etc.
• Help to lead JSW Group Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) and Sustainable Energy Environment and Decarbonization (SEED) initiatives, including product stewardship programs, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and JSW USA GreenEdge™ product offerings
• Drive continuous improvement in energy and industrial gases monitoring and efficiency programs as part of JSW USA – US Dept of Energy Better Plants partnership
• Oversee staff responsible for operations & maintenance activities to ensure reliability of water treatment, utilities, environmental control facilities, resource recovery & recycling programs
• Help to lead the technical evaluation of processes and equipment to optimize efficiency & reliability, improve trend-based monitoring to proactively identify issues
• Direct plant emergency responses for HSE incidents and implement contingency plans as required
• Serve as member of project teams, commissioning and operating new environmental and utilities operations for expansion projects or upgrades
• Coordinate and manage contractors as required
