Children’s Minnesota is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services teammate to maintain clean, safe patient areas and common spaces across our pediatric facilities. The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable service to support patient care.

Under direct supervision, you will perform daily cleaning tasks in patient rooms, lounges, restrooms, and clinic areas, contributing to a sanitary and welcoming environment for children and families.

Qualifications

  • 6 months general housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience required.

  • Under direct supervision, performs daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms, nursing station, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with facility standards and objectives.

Position Summary

Experience
  • 6 months general housekeeping experience preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient and family populations.
  • Demonstrated effective customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team, using good judgment in completing work assignments.

Salary and Benefits

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
