Job summary

Williams Companies seeks an Environmental Specialist III or IV to manage NEPA processes, water and cultural resources permitting, and related regulatory compliance for diverse projects. You will coordinate with state agencies, lead permitting schedules, and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years (III) or 8+ years (IV) of environmental experience, and demonstrate strong communication and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' environmental experience (Environmental Specialist IV).
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years' environmental experience (Environmental Specialist III).

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with state regulatory agencies and advances permitting strategies.
• Develops and maintains environmental policies, processes, and compliance documentation.
• Assesses environmental risks and executes approved mitigation actions.
• Leads or supports environmental project planning activities like scheduling, cost estimation, and reporting.
• Prepares and submits complex environmental permit applications and renewals.
