Job summary

Williams is seeking an Environmental Specialist IV in Tulsa, OK to manage projects and programs of moderate complexity across air, water and waste. You will develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental processes and policies.

The role involves risk assessment, regulatory documentation, permit applications, audits, training, and mentoring others. Strong MS Office skills and a bachelor’s degree with eight years of environmental experience are required, along with a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental processes and policies.
  • Assess environmental risk, recommend actions, and participate or run approved courses of action, including regulatory documentation.
  • Participate in environmental project planning and implementation, including scheduling, cost estimating, preparation of environmental impact assessments and reporting.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to others.
  • Prepare and submit applications for environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations; coordinate with company partners.
  • Perform environmental compliance audits and due diligence investigations as needed.
  • Identify environmental training needs and provide training.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement improvements for systems and practices in air, water, waste management, and remediation activities for assigned areas.
  • Prepare and submit all required compliance reports and certifications; maintain documentation related to environmental compliance programs.
  • Develop relationships between Williams and regulatory agencies.
  • Interpret applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
