Under moderate direction, performs basic tasks according to highly specific departmental policies and procedures in order to maintain an aseptic, safe, clean, and attractive environment for the hospital.

Essential Functions
- Extract/Bonnet Carpets.
- Strip/Finish, Scrub/Recoat Hard floors.
- Remove Bulk Trash/Soiled Linen and Bio-Hazardous Waste.
- Complete Project Work, as assigned.
- Interact with Patients/Guests/Staff.
- Complete Set-Ups/Furniture Moves.
- Operate Electric/Battery Operated Rotary/Walk-Behind Machines, Wet Vacuums and Other Equipment, as required.
- Deliver Supplies (i.e. paper products, soap, etc.)
- Complete miscellaneous cleaning tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
- Ability to understand simple oral instructions and communicate simple job-related problems.
- Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High school graduate or equivalent
