Job Description

ProSidian seeks an Environmental Specialist I | Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, & Environmental Programs (OSEP) Services and Support [FBI0011011] for program support on a exempt W2 basis. The role is 1X overtime eligible on a hybrid on/off‑site schedule across the CONUS (Washington, DC; Clarksburg, WV; Quantico, VA; Nationwide field offices). The position supports a mission‑driven federal law enforcement enterprise managing nationwide safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, and sustainability compliance.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as an Environmental Specialist I in the government and public services industry sector, focusing on environmental program solutions for clients such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The role includes compliance tracking and reporting, data‑driven safety and hygiene solutions, and protection of people, operations, and mission performance. Work is hybrid on/off‑site across all U.S. regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Provide entry‑level environmental program support, including compliance tracking and reporting. • Execute program activities: data collection, reporting, and assistance in program execution. • Maintain and update environmental compliance records and assist in the preparation of federal reporting. • Support occupational safety and environmental programs across multiple client sites and regions.

Qualifications

Desired qualifications: • 0–5 years of relevant experience. • Familiarity with energy and water efficiency strategies, LEED rating system, environmental compliance, and federal reporting requirements. • BS degree preferred. • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain a Top‑Secret security clearance. • Strong analytical, technical writing, data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Perform technical tasks with minimal supervision and proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Assist with environmental program support, data collection, reporting, and compliance tracking.
Other Details

Top Secret clearance required. The team ensures full environmental compliance by adhering to installation‑specific hazardous material procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous substances. All hazardous materials are delivered exclusively to authorized collection points. The team maintains clean, safe work environments and remediates spills or unsafe conditions promptly. Workspaces are subject to inspection by U.S. and local authorities for compliance with environmental and safety standards.
