Kiewit is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to support SWPPP development, field inspections, and permitting across ongoing projects. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in environmental permitting and strong ArcGIS/Field Maps skills to interpret spatial data and ensure regulatory compliance.

Travel to project sites across the East Coast and Texas will be required, with a base compensation range reflective of the role and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental permitting, construction compliance, or related fieldwork.
• Demonstrated experience with SWPPP development and NPDES construction stormwater permitting.
• Strong technical writing skills, with experience drafting environmental reports and permit applications.
• Knowledge of Clean Water Act Section 404/401 permitting processes.

Location

This role supports projects across the East Coast and Texas. Project assignments will be based on business needs, so the specific location is not known in advance but will be within these regions.

• Familiarity with EPA regulations and environmental compliance standards.
• Background in siting studies and environmental impact assessments.
• Previous work with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale infrastructure or T&D projects.

Base Compensation: $72,000/yr - $84,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
