Indorama Ventures: Indovinya in Port Neches, TX seeks an Environmental Specialist to oversee regulatory reporting and LDAR program management. You will ensure compliance with NSR, Title V, and TPDES requirements and maintain environmental databases for operational areas.

The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to review emissions data, prepare regulatory reports, interpret regulations, and support plant-wide EH&S initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • 1-10 years of related experience.
  • Experience with NSPS and NESHAP regulations, Title V reporting, air quality regulations, emission event reporting, corporate auditing, and database management.
  • Petrochemical industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong Excel, Word, and database skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with air regulatory programs and manage LDAR program.
  • Develop/maintain environmental databases for operational areas within the Port Neches Operations facility.
  • Review emissions data and assist in regulatory report preparation.
  • Interpret and implement regulatory requirements; provide project assistance as needed.
  • Participate in EH&S initiatives and required training programs.
  • Work overtime or extra hours as needed to meet production objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members across backgrounds to achieve company goals.

Job description

Ensure compliance with air regulatory programs, manage LDAR program, develop/maintain environmental databases for operational areas within the Port Neches Operations (PNO) facility.

  • Other Compliance Tasks
  • Responsible for implementing, coordinating, and managing compliance reporting for the assigned process unit(s).
  • Ensure compliance with the assigned unit environmental permits (NSR, Title V, TPDES) and participate as a team member for any projects which may require air permit development.
  • Manage LDAR Program.
  • Participate in other non-safety and non-environmental plant activities as needed to improve performance in areas of safety, environmental, reliability, cost control, capital deployment, etc.
  • Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed.
  • If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals.
  • Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
  • Participate in and completes company-required training programs.
What are we looking for in the Ideal Candidate?
  • 4-year Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science or Related Field
  • 1-10 yrs Related Experience
  • Experience with the following: NSPS and NESHAP regulations, Title V reporting, air quality regulations, emission event reporting, corporate auditing, and database management.
  • Petrochemical Industry experience a plus.
  • Strong Excel, Word, and database skills.
  • Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.
  • Experience with TCEQ Regulatory Databases preferred.
