Job summary

Ramboll in Hartford, CT is seeking a full-time Consultant to join the Site Solutions Team in our Hartford office. The role focuses on environmental characterization, investigation, remediation, ecological assessments, and remedial strategy development.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and other Consultants to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions for clients while advancing site investigations and reporting. A geoscience degree is required and travel up to 30% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Science from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years of relevant consulting experience with the last 4 years being in Connecticut is a plus.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and annual refresher.
• Candidates must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drilling, sampling, surveying, and laboratory services; manage field work including soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling.
• Oversee remediation systems (SVE, eISB, ISCO, PRB, groundwater extraction) and field management.
• Develop site investigation work plans with scope, budgeting, and data analysis.
• Prepare and edit technical and regulatory reports.
• Support conceptual site models and ecological assessments.
