Location

Warwick Aged Care is located in the beautiful Southern Downs and just 3 km from Warwick’s centre. Catch up with family at the on-site café, take a walk in our landscaped gardens, or visit some of Queensland’s finest original sandstone buildings and heritage site. Important amenities and shops are nearby.

Warwick is Approx. 2 hr 17 min (157.6 km) West of Brisbane, based on the Darling downs.

About this role

An opportunity in Warwick has become available for a proactive, detail-oriented person looking to contribute to the team and to make a real difference in the lives of our elderly residents. The role requires someone who is highly organised, able to juggle various duties, and committed to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment at our Warwick Residential Aged Care facility.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of meals; maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
  • Assist with the serving of meals, including setting up and cleaning the dining room, trolleys and trays.
  • Maintain the laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and resident clothing.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility’s residential areas

To be suitable for the position, ideally you have:

  • Certificate II in Cookery or similar (desirable)

Possess or willingness to obtain;

  • A National Police Certificate
