Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly Township, NJ, seeks a dedicated environmental services team member to maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment for visitors, patients and staff. You will clean facilities, remove trash, distribute linen, and prepare rooms as directed.

You must follow universal precautions to protect everyone, safely handle and dispose of regulated medical waste, manage chemicals safely, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak English required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains Virtua facilities per instruction; includes cleaning, trash removal, linen distribution, and room setup.
• Maintains universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Safely handles and disposes of regulated medical waste and other trash.
• Responsible for proper chemical usage and safe storage of chemicals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• May assume linen responsibilities as required.
• May be required to work in other facilities as assigned.
