Job summary

The Point Casino and Hotel is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming casino facility in Kingston, NY. You will clean floors, restrooms, and common areas, while upholding sanitation standards and interacting positively with guests and staff.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have prior custodial experience, especially in hospitality. Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning or custodial experience in hospitality or casino environment is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining, sanitizing, and cleaning various areas of the casino while interacting positively with guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize casino floors, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in guest areas, including the gaming floor, lounges, restaurants, and service areas.
• Interact with guests and employees in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
• Respond to cleaning requests and maintain a timely and efficient cleaning schedule.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of trash and waste materials.
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations and procedures.
