Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Worker to support environmental and infection control standards across healthcare, education, and business facilities. You will help maintain clean, sanitary, and attractive environments for clients.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning of patient rooms and common areas, using cleaning chemicals and disinfectants, disposing of waste, participating in infection control, and reporting hazards to management.

Qualifications

• Experience handling housekeeping equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and safe handling.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Demonstrates integrity and ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and restrooms, and launder linens.
• Use cleaning chemicals and disinfectants, supplies and equipment to maintain a clean environment.
• Dispose of waste and bio-hazardous materials per safety protocols.
• Participate in infection control and training on cleaning protocols.
• Report damages, maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve infection control and environmental standards.

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas, administrative offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas and public restrooms, as well as launder all hospital linens.
• Use various cleaning chemicals and disinfectants, housekeeping supplies and equipment to maintain a clean and professional environment.
• Properly dispose of waste and bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols.
• Participate in infection control, departmental equipment training, and all cleaning protocols.
• Report any damages, maintenance problems or safety hazards to the appropriate management team.
• Work with other departments within the facility to improve quality and performance in providing environments that meet infection control and environmental services standards.
