Job summary

Environmental Services at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN seeks dedicated EVS technicians to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. This role offers day and evening shifts, competitive pay, and opportunities for career growth.

• Replenishing supplies, removing waste, and supporting sustainability efforts by transporting recyclables to identified pick up points.
• Collaborating with others, using organizational and time management skills, and communicating effectively.
• Following standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
• Using industry-leading technology and equipment to ensure safety and infection control.
• Other duties as assigned.

About The Role

Environmental Services’ mission is to maintain a clean, safe, reliable, and aesthetically pleasing environment throughout Mayo Clinic. Available shifts*

Day Shifts: The day shift EVS tech positions include 8-hour shifts with various start times between 6am and 10am.

Evening Shifts: The evening shift EVS Tech positions include 8-hour shifts with various start times between 3pm and 8pm

Qualifications

Must be 18 years old. Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions. Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting.

Additional Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Customer service experience and skills are highly valued. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow. Shift assignments may be altered to accommodate departmental/customer services.
