Job Summary
The Environmental Services Technician II at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for creating a clean, safe, and compliant environment to support delivery of high-quality care by performing daily and special cleaning that meets departmental procedures, safety, and infection control standards. This role goes beyond immediate cleaning tasks, engaging in providing high-quality customer service and identifying opportunities for improvement across responsibilities. The Technician channels efficiency and organization while remaining adaptable to support team needs.

Responsibilities

1. Performs daily floor care, stripping/refinishing, and carpet care in all hospital areas according to SOPs.
2. Performs all facets of cleaning to meet department/hospital standards.
3. Collaborates with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness daily.
4. Completes floor care tracking sheets and logs in/out of Tele tracking for breaks.
5. Ensures excellent customer service, responds promptly to management and departments, and follows AIDET and High Profile Cleaning protocols.
6. Uses supplies appropriately, adhering to budget guidelines.
7. Adheres to behavioral standards, policies, procedures, and applicable regulations including HIPAA.
