Hourly Pay Range:

$17.43 - $24.40 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Hours: Rotating shift depending on department needs

A Brief Summary:

Clean and maintain an assigned area of the facility in a safe, sanitary, and attractive condition.

What you will do:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Swedish Covenant Hospital, showing a service orientation and adhering to all responsibilities and standards of the hospital.
  • Perform daily and terminal cleaning, replenish supplies, and report necessary repairs in patient care and ancillary areas (including patient rooms, washrooms, exam rooms, lobbies, offices, etc.) to ensure a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Collect, transport, process, and dispose of all types of waste, including hazardous and medical waste, following established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain safety and sanitation.
  • Extract and spin clean carpets, wash walls, ceilings, lights, spray buff, scrub, and refinish hard/tile floors, shampoo upholstered furniture, and perform other cleaning tasks to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned according to departmental demands.
