Part-time 6:30pm - 10:30pm, 5 days a week

Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital offers a range of services including cardiovascular, emergency, family birthing, radiology, laboratory, nephrology, orthopedic, rehabilitation, and surgical services, supported by a diverse medical staff across more than two dozen specialties.

• Required: High School diploma or GED; experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Preferred: Previous cleaning experience and exceptional customer service skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage linen inventory and replenishment
• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition
• Practice safe work habits using chemicals, equipment, and cleaning techniques such as damp dusting, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing
• Follow all regulatory standards for waste management
• Possess at least 1 year of housekeeping or Environmental Services experience or equivalent
• Work around patients, cleaning rooms, hallways, and spills
• Opportunity to be cross-trained in other areas, emphasizing teamwork and patient care
